Lieutenant Colonel Kalil’s career began as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Specialist in the U.S. Army. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri with an emphasis on Space Nuclear Propulsion. He completed his Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri. Jeff was a Warrior Reconnaissance Helicopter Pilot and managed the Blackhawk Flight Test Program.
Once part of the civilian world, he managed the F-18 and Boeing 787 production lines with responsibility for profit and loss for small parts, composite materials, hard metals, and sheet metals.
He has served in Iraq and performed border patrol and drug interdiction missions near Southern California. While serving his country Mr. Kalil received several awards, including the coveted Army Air Medal for missions flown in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His additional awards include Army Meritorious Service Medal; Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; National Defense Medal; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Aviation Badge; Air Assault Badge; and the Airborne Badge.
